Media Detective Teacher Training    web-based teacher training for Media Detective


Description: This comprehensive and interactive web-based training course prepares educators to implement the evidence-based Media Detective program in their classrooms. After completing the course, educators will understand the rationale for utilizing media literacy education for substance abuse prevention, have practiced their media deconstruction skills, have a better understanding of the material and activities in each Media Detective lesson, and have stronger convictions regarding the importance of media literacy education for their students.

Audience: Elementary school teachers, health educators, and other substance abuse prevention specialists
